Greetings from Canton, Ohio, the Hall of Fame City!
We hope to see you at this year’s 2007 Ohio State Challenger Tournament held June 29, 30, and July 1.
We have been working very hard to ensure a wonderful weekend of activity, food, friendship--and, oh yes, lots of baseball!!
We have chosen a non-traditional weekend
for our tournament--late in June.

Our tentative schedule for the weekend will be:

Friday Evening 6:00--Managers Meeting--at the fields
Saturday Morning 9:00--Opening Ceremonies
Saturday Morning 9:30--Games Begin
Saturday 11:00-1:00--Lunch for all
Saturday Afternoon--Games Continue
Saturday Evening--Dance (at the Barrette Center, Walsh University)Sunday Morning 9:00--Non-Denominational Worship
Sunday Morning 10:00--Games Resume

All teams will play two games on Saturday and one on Sunday unless other arrangements have been made. A final game schedule will not be available until the Managers Meeting. Players will receive the customary tournament t-shirt and gifts from the host league. Saturday lunch and light foods at the dance will be available for all in attendance.

Our games will all be played at the Little League Ballfield Complex in North Canton, OH. This is a beautiful park with sidewalks networking ALL the fields, which are all a short walk from each other. The fields are across from Walsh University, approx. one mile east of the original Hoover Company in downtown North Canton.

Over 300 hotel rooms are blocked off for our tournament but many others are available.

We hope to see some familiar, friendly faces in our town this June at the tournament! A good time is guaranteed!!
