What's in-store for the 2010 season
Another season fastly approaches for the Hurricanes and all thoughts are on the 3rd year coaching staff that has yet to have a winning season in it's 1st 2 years . While the Canes are still trying to recover from Ashers last minute firing of coach Melnick, all eyes are on the new coaching staff coach Strong has put together. While there is plenty of talented athletes on the diamond many wonder why that hasn't transpired into wins for the Hurricanes. This will be the 1st year that coach Strong will have kids that has come-up though his JV program and should be a leading indicator of how successful this staff will be in the future. With 40 plus kids in the program, this year will be coach Strongs 1st with kids that have come though his developmental program for the last 2 years. With any luck this will be the year that we can finally silence all the negative comments that has plagued this team the last 2 years. The guestbook and message board has been re-opened for comments but will be monitored for vulgar language and personal attacks and anyone not following these 2 simple rules will be banned for good.
