-- The last day for games to count in the standings is Thursday, June  25th. 

-- Playoffs for the Jr division will consits of the top 4 teams as determined by points.  The Sr division will consist of a championship game bewtween the top 2 teams. 

-- Please make sure all scores are reported and recorded.  I will not chase down scores, and if I do not have them they do not count towards your point total!

-- Jr semifinals will begin on Saturday June 27th, with the winners advancing to the finals on Monday June 29th @ Midway LL.  The Sr championship game will be held on Sunday June 28th @ Newark National.

--For teams to be eligible for All Star play, 12 games must be played during the season.  Of those games played, individual players must have played in 60% to be eligible.

Download Pitching Eligibility form: Click Here  This must be used for every game and should be signed off on by both teams manager/scorekeeper.  Make sure this is available for inspection during ground rules at the beginning of each game.

Procedure for Rescheduling a Game 

If it is not possible to play a scheduled game due to lack of players or weather, it is the manager's responsibility to contact the other team regarding the postponment.  Both managers should then reference the master schedule and try to agree on a possible date to reschedule this game.  If neither manager can agree on a date, the intereleague board will assign a date based on field availability. 

It is then the responsibility of the home team manager to contact Norm Dagg (head umpire) to imform him of the cancellation and inquire into the availability of the umpire for the rescheduled date.  After Mr. Dagg confirms umpires will be available, contact Ryan Pringle (rpringle@canallittleleague.org) to schedule the game and confirm field availability.

IN SUMMARY

To postpone a game....

1) Call Norm Dagg to cancel the umpires.  If not given enough notice, they will charge you!

2) Contact the opposing manager.  Review the Master Schedule to reschedule the game.

3) Contact Norm Dagg to verify umpires for the reschedule.

4) Contact Ryan Pringle to officially schedule the game and lock in the rescheduled time and field

League policy concerning a scheduled game to which one team shows up with less then 9 players dictates that the game is allowed to be rescheduled provided the team in violation picks up the new umpire fees.  The team originally scheduled to pay the umpires for the originally scheduled game will continue to do so.  If this can be avoided, however, please call and cancel the umpires so leagues are not charged.  Thank you for your compliance.

Canal LL:  Take Rt. 40 South until you reach Old Rt. 896.  Take a left and continue until you pass Peoples Plaza.  Canal LL will be immeadiatly on the right behind the Heritage Baptist Church.

Midway LL:  Located behind the Western YMCA on the Kirkwood Highway.

Newark National:  Located between Rt. 4 and Rt. 273 on Harmony Rd.  Turn onto N. Brownleaf Rd. and the NNLL fields will be on your right.

Newark American: Take Rt 4 South towards Elkton Rd.   Take a right onto Elkton Rd and follow for 1 mile, then take a left onto Casho Mill Rd.  The NALL Jr. field will be 2 miles on your left at the intersection of Casho Mill and Barksdale Rd.

New Castle LL: Take Rt. 273 North across Rt. 13.  After crossing Rt. 13, NCLL is 2 miles on the right.

Suburban LL: To get to Suburban's Memorial field from Churchman's Rd. turn onto Airport Rd. heading South toward rte. 273. After you pass the Motor Vehicle Bureau on the right take your first right into the Ivy Ridge development. Go straight back until you must turn. Turn right and follow onto dirt/gravel road which winds around to Memorial field.  From rte. 273 turn onto Airport Rd. heading North toward Churchman's Rd. Take the last left before the Motor Vehicle Bureau (across from the entrance to Prestwick) into Ivy Ridge and follow the directions above to the field.

Banning Park:  Take Rt 141 to exit 4 towards Rt. 4 North.  Continue on Rt. 4 at the bottom of the off ramp for 2 miles, and Banning Park is on the right.  Follow the road around the park, the junior field is located at the back of the park.

Delcastle Park: Take the Kirkwood Highway and turn onto Limestone Rd (northbound).  Follow Limestone Rd until your vear right.  Continue through the stoplight onto McKennas Church Rd.  Delacastle Recreational Park is located on the right, across from Delcastle Golf Course.

McKean High School:  Follow the directions above for Delcastle PArk.  Continue on McKennans Church Road for another 1-1.5 miles and McKean HS will be on your left.

Stanton LL: Stanton Newport LL is located behind Stanton Middle School on Limestone Rd. Take the Kirkwood Highway to Limestone Road and turn onto Rt. 7 South.  Stanton MS will be 1 mile on the right.
