FORCE COMES FROM BEHIND TO BEAT BANDITS
(FORCE 4 - 3 BANDITS)
The Bandits took a 2-0 lead in the top of the 1st and a 3-1 lead after 3 innings before the Force scored 3 in the bottom of the 4th, for the 4-3 victory Wednesday night at Canal.
FORCE - Anna settled in after a rocky start to pitch a complete game, recording 11 strikeouts and only allowing one hit. Anna also scored twice. Paige had a great game playing second and at the plate as, she had a big 2 run single to tie the game. Paige had 3 RBI and scored. Rebekah had the big sacrifice bunt to score Paige for the winning run. Hayley also scored.
BANDITS - Haley P pitched a complete game, allowing 4 hits. Mackenzie, Maryanna and Lyndsey scored. Haley J got the Bandits hit. The play of the game came in the bottom of the 5th. The Force batting with bases loaded and 1 out, Marissa hit a shot into left center, that would have cleared the bases. Out of nowhere came Courtney, who made the all out running catch and doubled up the runner at 2nd for the 3rd out of the inning, keeping the Bandits only down one run.
IT WAS A GREAT BALL GAME !!!
Championship games will be Sat at 11am and Sun at 1pm (Mon at 6pm if necessary)
