Local Rules for Divisions T-Ball through 15u
ALL AGE DIVISIONS: Coach or Volunteer: Please read and follow the rules that apply to your age division.
ALL AGE DIVISIONS: Sportsmanship: Managers, Coaches, Players, Parents and Spectators should conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times.Please refrain from exhibiting un-sportsman like conduct towards your team orthe opposing team for any reason. Anyone exhibiting un-sportsman like conductcan and will be removed from the game or park with no warning. The consumption or possession of alcoholic beverages or any illegal substances is prohibited in BALL PARKS. Anyone found violating this rule will be reported to the Camdenton police departments.Coaches you are role models for OUR children, Please be aware that the use of Profanity, alcohol,cigarettes or illegal drugs around your team will result in your immediate suspension from the League. ( At any time : beforegames, during games, or practices.)

THE USE OF ANY TOBACCO PRODUCT SHALL BE PROHIBITED BY ALL PARTICIPANTS "INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO PLAYERS,MANAGERS,COACHES" WITHIN THE CONFINES OF THE PLAYING FIELD AND DUGOUTS.
RUN RULES, AS PER USSSA GUIDELINES: 15 AFTER 3, 8 AFTER 4
ANY COACH, PLAYER OR FAN EJECTED FROM A GAME BY AN UMPIRE SHALL BE INELIGIBLE TO COACH, PLAY OR ATTEND THEIR TEAM’S NEXT 2 GAMES or can be banned permanently. OFFICIALS RESERVE THE RIGHT TO EJECT ANY COACH, PLAYER OR FAN FOR UNRULY BEHAVIOR. Coaches are responsible for their teams spectators behavior during games.
Park use: If you see anyone abusing our parks(Bathrooms, fields, equipment, buildings, play areas, parking areas, fences) please ask them to stop. Please park sensibly in the parking area so that others will also have room to park. Please have Parents and Players pick up their trash.
Coachesplease teach your players to be there 15 to 30 minutes early prior to game timeto warm up. This will ensure they are there for game time. Line ups must be turned in to the other team 10 minutes prior to the start of the game.
T-BALL; T-BALL PLAYERS WILL HIT USING THE T. ALL PLAYERS PLAY IN THE FIELD AT NORMAL POSITIONS. ADDITIONAL PLAYERS SHOULD BE PLACED IN THE OUTFIELD.OUTS WILL BE CALLED AND CHILD WILL RETURN TO THE BENCH, ALL PLAYERS WILL BAT THROUGH THE ENTIRE ORDER REGARDLESS OF THE OUTS.
Pitching Machine: The pitching machine will be used for the entire game, unless both coaches agree to coach pitch at the start of the game. Each batter gets a maximum of 5 pitches to put the ball in play. The batter is out after the 5thpitch;
If a player tips a ball on the 5th pitch or 3rd strike the player will not be out until the player does not swing or misses the ball. As long as he/she tips the ball the player will remain at bat. Players need to be taught to slide in this age division, when they advance to the 10u division they are required to slide when instructed by the umpire. If they don’t slide when instructed, they will be called out.
The machine will be set at 40’ fromhome plate, speed will be set at 32-37 mph. Batted balls which hit the machine is a base hit and the ball is dead. Thrown balls hitting the machine are dead.
Uniforms: Players must be in league provided shirt and hat. Players are not to wear jewelry that dangles or hangs. Jewelry that is distracting, such as sparkling or reflective. If you can’t see the jewelry, it doesn’t need to be removed. Run Rule: Scores are kept. The batting team may score a maximum of 8 runs per ½inning.
Batting: All batters must wear a batting helmet. All players will be in the batting line up and will be batted in order through the entire line up. Note: After 3 outs or 8 runs the batting team will take the field for defense. The fielding team will then bat. NO ON DECK BATTERS! No head first slides, unless returning to the base. For 9u division/Runners are only entitled to 1 base on an overthrow. When the ball is thrown in from the outfield and is caught by an infielder or hits the dirt on the infield, the players will advance to the base that the player is enroute to and no further. The batting team’s catcher will put on thecatchers equipment after 2 outs to help speed up the game. 9u division/Stealing is not permitted, the infield fly rule is not in play.
No new innings after an hour.
Fielding: Players will be put into the following baseball positions: Pitcher, catcher, 1st base, 2ndbase, 3rd base, short stop, and 4 outfielders. The remaining players will be subs.
Substitutions: No player will sit out more than 1 consecutive inning. Players will not sit out more than one inning per game until all players have sat out at least 1 inning. (with the exception to the catcher) Coaches will rotate players, giving players an equal learning opportunity, as much as reasonably possible in order to avoid injuries.

Dugouts or benches: Only team members and players are allowed in the dugouts, or on the field during game play. Parents wanting to volunteer will need to fill out a Volunteer application before helping on the field or in the dugout ( or on the benches)This applies to everyone, no one is exempt from this. The volunteer will have a background check and be screened through the National Sexual Offender Registry.If this has not been completed, they are not covered under our liability insurance,and will not be allowed on the fields with players until they are cleared to do so. Coaches will ensure that all players remain on the field or in the dugout (or on the benches) at all times.The only exception is bathroom breaks. Players who leave the field or dugout (or benches)otherwise will not be permitted to reenter the game. If a player is not in the dugout (or on the bench ) when it is their turn at bat, they will be called out.1 COACH SHALL REMAIN IN THE DUGOUT WHILE TEAM IS AT PLAY IN THE FIELD. CHILDREN ARE NOT TO SWING BATS IN THE DUGOUT!

Good Sportsmanship For All Coaches Parents and Participants
We expect excellent sportsmanship to occur during all Camdenton Youth Baseball Events. Sportsmanship includes many parts - attitude, intensity,
commitment and the way we interact with each other.
GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF ALL OF US - ESPECIALLY EXAMPLES SET BY COACHES AND PARENTS.
NO coach, player, or fan shall engage in any grossly unsportsman like conduct including but not limited to: throwing equipment, use of profanity, arguing, yelling or directing remarks to, or at, any player, coach, or umpire during or after any Camdenton Youth Baseball League event. Alcohol and/or drug use is not permitted in the Camdenton ballparks by coaches,participants or spectators.
UNSPORTSMAN LIKE CONDUCT WILL NOT BE TOLERATED IN THE LEAGUE -
coaches are directly responsible
for their conduct and the conduct of their players and fans.
It is imperative that this is clearly communicated to all participants and parents or spectators.
