Consider making a positive contribution by participating in some of the activities listed below which make each season a success. Don't let your apprehension or misplaced fear stop you. Whether you can commit just for a few hours on one occasion or want to roll up your sleeves to tackle some of our longer-term projects, we have a special place for you and your talents and skills! You don't need to be a CEO or a high-powered executive (although you could be!), being the parent or guardian of a registered player is your best qualification. You basically need just 3 things - some time (and we can ALL find a little of that), dedication and a love of kids and the game.

• Volunteer some time to help run the Snack Bar.  This is one of the biggest areas where you can help.
• Initiate, develop and manage new fundraising opportunities, which as revenue sources, permit us to maintain low registration fees and refurbish equipment.
• Encourage your employer to become a valued Cambridge Little League sponsor. If you are self-employed, become one yourself!
• Be a coach on YOUR son or daughter's team. Be a scorekeeper or a team parent for YOUR son or daughter's team.
• Help organize or co-ordinate Picture Day.
• Help the committee which organizes and manages Opening Day activities and  the Chicken BBQ.
• Volunteer to help with field maintainance, ground, and facility improvement projects.
• Participate in the Annual General Meeting in August, become a regular member and have your say about what is going on and your experience, offer your suggestions for change and improvement.
• Become a candidate for a position on the Board of Directors. After all, many hands make light work.

There are so many ways you can make a positive contribution. Whatever you can do to help  make our League that much stronger and more successful. Let us know today you want to get involved and how you'd like to make a positive difference. Without volunteers there would not be a Cambridge Little League Baseball.
