CAS Cheer & Dance is dedicated to providing a means for those individuals, who desire to excel at the sport of cheerleading & dance, to compete at the all star level. Our commitment to provide a positive atmosphere where each member is challenged to achieve their personal best, both on and off the competition floor, is built on a strong foundation of Family, Friends, and Fun, while teaching Skills, Safety, and Sportsmanship. It is our goal to develop, through the sport of all star cheerleading, well rounded individuals who display positive self esteem and self confidence, respect for self and others, self discipline, and sportsmanship.
Calvert All Stars, Inc. is a federally recognized non-profit organization (501c3) formed in 1998 to provide a means for those individuals who excel at the sport of cheerleading to compete at the all star level. CAS is staffed entirely by volunteers who devote their time and talents to supporting the youth of Southern Maryland.
In 2008, CAS celebrates TEN TERRIFIC YEARS! ! ! We would like to thank everyone for their support and encouragement. As we approach the end of our ninth successful season, we reflect upon our many accomplishments, the addition of our 3000 sq ft training facility and full spring floor & tumbl trak; and we are delighted with the continued growth and achievements of all our members and our organization as a whole. None of this could be accomplished without the efforts of our volunteer coaching staff, parents, and team members. Over the last nine years, CAS Cheer & Dance Teams have achieved fourteen national titles, crowned grand champions, and are consistently recognized by their peers for sportsmanship and spirit. We were honored to be the featured All Star Team in Cheer Biz magazine, cheerleadings premiere magazine for all star cheerleading teams across the country. We continue to support the community with our efforts and are looking forward to expanding our community outreach program. Our teams continue to excel, placing among the top teams in the state. We were also honored to have our director, Tracie Jones, selected as Marylands Top Coach. All our teams have had an outstanding season again this year, bringing home many awards to add to our shelves. We are looking forward to continuing the winning tradition as we begin the 2008-2009 season.
Registration for the 2008-2009 season will be held beginning March 1. The 2007 season brought an exciting addition to the Cougar Family - All Star Dance Teams. Our dance teams were undefeated in their inaugural season and crowned NATIONAL CHAMPIONS at Champion Cup Nationals; quite an accomplishment for a first year team!
