CALIFORNIA STING: Board of Directors

Duties of the Board of Directors
The management of the property and affairs of the California Sting, Inc., is vested in the Board of Directors. The directors, upon election and installation, immediately enter into the performance of their duties and continue in office until their successors have been duly elected and installed.

The Board of Directors consist of the following officers: President,Vice-President, Secretary-Treasurer and Commissioner. In addition, the board contains a non-voting position of Bingo-Uniform Coordinator. Each team that is not otherwise represented by a voting Board member has one (1) vote regarding motions before the Board.

If a board member fails to perform his or her duties, he or she may be relieved of office by a majority vote of the Board of Directors.

The board approves all coach and manager selections and may replace a coach and/or manager for negative behavior deemed to be harmful to the players or the organization.      
The Board of Directors is committed to:

Providing an opportunity for young athletes, ages 8 - 18, to participate in highly competitive youth sports with tournament play at regional and national levels.

Building a youth sports organization based on the full participation of players and parents in order to provide the most exciting, fun-filled, and worthwhile youth sports program possible.

Successfully competing in tournaments with teams at the 9U,10U,11U 12U,13U,14U,16U,and 18U age groups.

Providing the quality coaching, mentoring and clinics necessary to allow our young athletes the opportunity to reach their potential in their chosen sport.

The current Board members are:
