T-Ball Division Our youngest players learn the basic skills of baseball by hitting off a tee. Every team member plays in the field and has a chance to catch and throw the ball, too. These teams practice once during the week and play games at Meyerholz Elementary Field on Saturday afternoons. Season runs from March to June. Farm Division As players develop, more elements of the game are added. Farm players hit pitching from a coach and later from other players. Everyone plays on defense and everyone bats. Practice is once during the week and games are played at Meyerholz Elementary Field. Season runs from late February to June. Minor Division Minors is a level for younger and developing players. A draft is held at the beginning of the season to place players on one of our minor teams. Pitching, running the bases, batting, fielding, and other skills are worked on. Every player rotates through the nine defensive positions while everyone has a spot in the batting order. Score is kept and there is a championship. Minor games are at Miller Middle School Major Field. Season runs from February to June with postseason going into July. Major Division Majors is for more advanced and experienced players. A draft is held at the beginning of the season to place players on one of our major teams. Nine play on defense and nine players bat. Players play at least half of the game; everybody plays. Major games are at Miller Middle School Major Field. Season runs from February to June with postseason going into July. Junior Division These older players move up to the full-sized field with 90 feet between bases. They begin leading off and play much like the older players. Juniors is a great level of learning and development for our players. Juniors play games against teams throughout our district, as far away as Los Altos and Sunnyvale. Home games are at Miller Middle School Junior Field. Season runs from March to June with postseason going into July. Senior Division CALL offers higher levels of baseball for players who want to continue playing. Many high school players continue to develop their games by playing with Little League. Most of these players started out playing T-ball or Farm on our smaller field. Season runs from May to July. Big League CALL offers higher levels of baseball for players who want to continue playing.
