CALIFORNIA MIRAGE ELITE 14U
California Mirage is now Triple Crown, AFA & NSA Qualified for 2009 season!
Is softball the core of your existence? Do you eat, drink and sleep softball? If you answered YES to any these two questions than read on! We are the 14U California Mirage Elite Fastpitch Softball team. We are entering are 6th year of top quality players with competitive attitudes and a desire to give nothing less than 100 percent efforts towards our performance and educational studies. Our team is blessed with great Coaching, Families, Friendships, and Respect for one another. With these four qualities California Mirage is unstoppable. In the Softball season of 2008/2009 Team Mirage will continue to represent the City of Walnut and Walnut Youth Softball as they take on various travel teams within the southern California region. California Mirage’s home base is Suzanne Park located in the beautiful City of Walnut, one of the nicer facilities in the San Gabriel Valley. With California Mirage…Anything is Possible!!!!

Mirage Wins
Team Mirage wins the A Cut Above 1st Annual Fireworks Classic going 5-3. On Saturday Mirage starts the day beating a very good Mirage Elite-Roberts team 3-2 behind a solid pitching performance of Pennellopii Hunt. Then team Mirage stumbles and loses 3 straight to Jynx, A Cut Above-Gold & Mirage -Robert. Then Team Mirage starts to play ball like we know they can to beat So Cal Venom in the last inning 4-3, Plays Jynx to a double international tie breaker and winning it in the 8th inning winning 5-3. Then came Lady Wongs and Team Mirage bats went to work. Behind a solid pitching performance of Madison Caropino Mirage wins 11-0. On to the championship against a good Mirage -Roberts team for there 5th game of the day. A homerun by Nikki Sprague and a homerun by Mackenzie Dutton are all the runs Mirage needs thanks to Jayme Chesler. She throws 5 shout out innings after throwing 6 shutout innings earlier against Jynx to win the game and the Championship. This championship belongs to all the ladies of Mirage for the hard work. Congratulations to Corie, Kendyl, Jayme, Miranda, Madison, Nicole, Sam, Ally, Nikki, Juliette, Pennellopii, Mac & Taylor. Coaches and our parents are very proud of you.

Mirage Plays in a 18U Tournament
Team Mirage goes 3-3 in their AFA 18U State Tournament this past weekend. Team Mirage makes it all the way to the semi finals were they fell short to a very solid So Cal Mirage. Ladies continue your hard work it is paying off. You continue to make us proud.

Mirage Wins Again
Team Mirage goes to Beaumont and goes 5-1 to win the Triple Crown Stars & Strikes tournament. Mirage battles a tough Team Renegade who did not give up when down 6-0 to battle back to a 6-5. Then team Mirage puts some impressive hitting putting up another 6 runs to beat Team Renegade 11-5. Mirage Elite is now 18-5-1 in 4 tournaments winning 2 of them. Ladies continue your hard work as we get ready for Park City.

Mirage Wins Tournament
Team Mirage goes to Hesperia to play in the So Cal Magic AFA Qualifier and goes undefeated with a 9-0-1 record. Team Mirage offense puts up over 70 runs and only gave up 25 in 10 games. Congratulations to Corie, Alyssa, Madison, Jayme, Kendyl, Mac, Nicole, Miranda, Taylor, Juliette, Larissa, Nicki, Alison & Samantha. You all played together as a team should. We see many good things to come.....

Walnut Youth Softball & California Mirage Elite - Molding Superstars
Walnut Youth Softball is a well-established youth softball organization for girls ages 5-16. Future All-Stars, Travelball and Softball Leaders are molded and trained here. All games played at Suzanne Park, one of the nicest facility in the San Gabriel Valley.
