Alex Flynn Memorial Award
On behalf of the 2012 U14G Tier 2 Spurs, the Spurs are truly honored to be chosen for the 2012 Alex Flynn Memorial Award. The Spurs would like to thank the selection committee for the time and effort taken to administer the award. Currently the team motto is :
"Play with tenacity, lose with dignity, win with humility"
As the Spurs team moves forward, their motto will be changed slightly to include the significance of the award:
"Play with tenacity, lose with dignity, win with humility...and with the team spirit honored in the Alex Flynn Memorial Award"

Congratulations to Peter MacDougall, currently coaching the Blizzard Leopards in girls under 16 IV/V. Peter has been recognised as a Neighbourhood Soccer Volunteer of the Year by State Farm. Peter has been involved at the Club for over 10 years as coach and referee, and in soccer in Calgary for over 40 years as player, coach, and referee! Thanks Peter for your dedication and hard work.
