Caledonia Soccer Club: Welcome
Saturday Morning Soccer
K-6th grade students
September 14th thru October 12th9am – 10:15 amCaledonia Soccer Club and the JV and Varsity Cal-Mum Soccer teams would like to invite you to come out for some soccer fun. This year we have teamed up with the Cal-Mum Soccer Coaches and their teams to create a more structured program for all to enjoy. The program will be taught by JV and Varsity Cal-Mum Soccer team volunteers and headed by the Cal-Mum Coaches.
The program will consist of stations and small-sided games. The children will rotate through the stations working on acquiring and fine-tuning the skills of shooting, dribbling, ball control, passing, etc. After they rotate through the stations the children will be participating in small-sided games, which will allow them to use the skills they have been taught.
Open registration will take place on Saturday September 14th starting at 8:30 am at the Cal-Mum Middle School entrance. Registration forms can be printed from the Caledonia Soccer Club website at http://www.eteamz.com/caledoniasoccerclub/handouts or filled out at time of registration. Cost: $30 made payable to Caledonia Soccer Club. Questions please call 585-355-9373
Children will receive a T-shirt and soccer socks. They need to come dressed in comfortable clothing with sneakers or cleats, a water bottle, ball and shin guards. If you do not have a ball or shin guards we will have them on hand for purchase. The cost will be $15.00 for both.
The Caledonia Soccer Club offers programs for boys and girls ages 4 to 19. Most of our players are from families who reside in the Cal-Mum School district, but we do accept others. We teach the basic skills of the game of soccer in hopes that each child will come to enjoy the game as much as we do. Our youngest players start as "Little Kickers" and play their games right in Caledonia. Older kids move into a recreation league where we field teams in various age groups. In the recreation league they will fine tune the basic soccer skills against teams from nearby towns. On occasion we field teams in travel leagues and many kids choose to play for travel squads from other nearby clubs.
We are a non-profit corporation. (501c3) The club runs on volunteer power. We have a board of directors and rely heavily on parents and friends to serve as coaches, team administrator, team mom, field maintenance crew, equipment dispensing and other tasks. If you'd like to volunteer please call the club president.
ALL PARENTS ARE WELCOME TO JOIN US AT ALL OF OUR MEETINGS. THE MORE PEOPLE WHO ATTEND & HELP VOLUNTEER WHERE THEY CAN WILL HELP THE CLUB TO CONTINUE TO SUCCEED.
