VOLUNTEER POSITIONS AVAILABLE

 Anyone who becomes a Director on the Board or Head Coach of a team (any level) will receive a free registration for the following season. Director duties include but not limited to: monthly meetings, assist at registrations, evaluations, snack bar, scheduling, social media, advertising, parades, etc

 

UNIFORM POLICY

 TIMBITS/TYKE -*includes shirt & hat-children will need comfortable shoes and a glove.

ATOM – BANTAM - *includes shirt & hat.  Players are responsible for purchasing their own BLACK baseball pants, orange socks (if wearing shorter pants), orange belt and rubber ball spikes. Proper uniform must be worn to play games.

MIDGET- *includes shirt & hat.  Players are responsible for purchasing their own BLACK baseball pants, orange sock (if wearing shorter pants), orange belt and rubber or metal ball spikes. Proper uniform must be worn to play games.

PITCHER/CATCHER CLINIC

We are offering a FREE Pitcher's/Catcher's Clinic for divisions Atom-Midget currently enrolled with Caledonia Comets. This is a great opportunity for players to enhance their skills and learn new ones as well it's a perfect time for those who want to learn how to pitch.

Our instructors are competitive Softball/Fastball players and members of our organization.

The clinic will take place weekly for 3 weeks starting Saturday April 28 @ 1pm.  Clinics will run for approximately 1 hour.

PLAYER EVALUATIONS

 

TIMBITS -no evaluations necessary

 

JUNIOR TYKE - evaluations to divide teams equally will take place on Saturday May 5 @ 10:00 AM

 

SENIOR TYKE - evaluations to divide teams equally will take place on Saturday May 5 @ 11:30 AM

 

ATOM-PEEWEE -  teams are filled on a first come/first serve basis to a maximum of 14 players per team after which registrants will be put on a waiting list. If there is a waiting list CASA will make its best effort to register enough players to support two teams.  If there is more than one team per division evaluations will take place and teams will be drafted as equally as possible.

 

SCHEDULES

 

TIMBITS- First day of Timbits will take place on Tuesday June 5, 6:00 pm, Kinsmen Diamond (by the pool).  They will continue every Tuesday and will finish on Tuesday August 7.

 

JR. TYKE to MIDGET -  Practices will start once the teams have been finalized and weather permitting.  Practice times are arranged by your coach. Games schedules will be available in May once all teams in the Erie League have been entered. A year end tournament’s will be held for each of these divisions. Dates and hosts will be announced when the schedule comes out.
