Ok runners it's almost time to start training for the 2009 Fall Cross Country Season. We will have summer practice at Brecknock Park in Camden. Meet us in the back parking lot at the picnic table under the tree. Anyone who is interested in running can join us. Parents, coaches are prohibited to attend practices until the fall season due to state regulations so this is just a captains practice. It is a great chance to come out to meet the team. As of right now we are planning on starting practice at 6:00pm but as the temperature increases we might move it back a bit. Practice is Monday thru Friday and from 6:00pm to about 7:00 to 7:30pm. These times will depend on your running level. The higher your running level the longer the practice. To find your level and running time, check out our Summer Base Conditioning Chart in the "Handouts" tab and the "summer schedule" tab on the left sidebar. Practices can get pretty hot so make sure you bring your water.

As a team we like to Run in the Annual Buffalo Stampede in Wyoming Park. This year it is being held on Saturday July 18th, 2009 and starting at 8:00am. It is $15 pre-registration and $20 on race day. Its a great opportunity to judge where you stand for the beginning of the season. Coaches plan on attending. Follow this link for a registration form.
