 IF a LEAGUE PRESIDENT CANNOT ATTEND send your Vice President or a representative from your league!  dates and times are subject to change, so please check back often for any schedule changes. 

League Presidents forward the recent information to your board members

REMINDERS:

League Presidents should receive "new season" information from LL HQ for

League Charter (If you have not received the form contact LL Hq. Spring Season by Mid December, and for All Star Tournament by late May.  contact Western Regional or LL Hq.  These forms also will be available soon on the L.L. web site www.littleleague.org

Please make sure your Board Of Directors Information is updated on the Little League Data Center through your League Information Officer.  You should receive this information in the mail from LL HQ which is annually mailed to the League President for insurance purposes.  Then  estimate how many teams your league will have for the coming season for the League Charter.  Hint: if you are unsure of the number of players state the same numberes for the previous season and adjust at a later date if needed.  Mail your League Charter  back to LL HQ.   Completing the League Charter will in turn enable you  the League President to receive the necessary documentation for you to begin and carry out your 2010 Little League Season! 

Player Agents   

New P.A.'s Obtain all previous registration, try-out, All Star teams selection and Waiver Player information from your previous Player Agent, League Secretary and /or League President. 

Check the Little League Website www.littleleague.org for great Player Agent information regarding your duties.  Then check the calendar and work with the new League President  and board members to determine when Registration, Try-outs, Player Drafts will be held for your league.   Prepare and produce with the Information Officer the advertising with flyers, posters, mailer cards, emails  etc.

Get your league rosters finalized with staff and players then upload to the LL Data Center by 10 days after the start of your season.

Make sure your league has the All Star Selection process planned and included in your Local League Rules. 

Player Waivers & Hardship Waivers are due to District 41 by May.

League Information Officers:
  
PLEASE put the District 41 logo on your Links section with a "link" to the District 41 webpage. 
Update / report your  League Officer changes online to the LL Data Center via your website. (get your sign on information from the previous League Information Officer)

League Treasurer ~  Get your financial sheets updated for the past 2009 season.  By end of September get your taxes prepared and filed with a CPA.   Meet with Player Agent and President estimate basic costs to your league and put a budget sheet together for your league for the coming 2010 season to present to your league at registrations.  Also estimate how many players/teams you'll have for 2010 and complete the League Charter Form. 

Safety Officers ~ 
League A.S.A.P. Safety Report with Lighting Audit for leagues with lights is due each Feb. Get together with your grounds crew, obtain a certified electrician and complete these reports before your 2010 season begins.  You can also find the forms on the www.littleleague.org webpage under forms/publications.
