Congratulations to our all our District 42 Champions on their great runs through the post season Tournaments. Park View's 9/10 year-olds finished second in the Section 7 Tournament in the heat of Calexico. Sweetwater Valley’s 10/11 year-olds finished 2^nd in the Southern California Sub-Division III Tourney in Imperial Beach after winning the Section 7 title. Park View’s Juniors also won their Section 7 crown and advanced to the Sub-Division III Tournaments in San Diego, finishing 2^nd. Southwest's Seniors finished 2^nd in the Section 7 Tournament in Spring Valley. South Bay's 9/10 year-old softball team finished 2^nd in the Section 7 Softball Tournament, as did Luckie Waller’s 11/12 year-old team. The Luckie Waller Juniors softball team advanced to the Southern California Sub-Division III Tournament in Palmdale and finished 7^th. And of course, thank you to ALL of our District 42 All-Star teams for another great Tournament season in District 42, and a very special THANK YOU to all the Leagues that hosted Tournaments for the 2009 season. And for all the volunteers, without whom none of this would be possible, THANK YOU VERY MUCH! We really appreciate everything you have done.
