California District 42 Little League: District 42 Neighborhood

Because of the rain, we postponed our District 42 Coaches & Managers clinic to Sunday, March 27, 2011 at Sweetwater Valley Little League (SWVLL).  The times will be 10:00 AM -12:00 noon for T-Ball, Coach Pitch and Machine Pitch and 12:30 PM - 2:30 PM for everyone else. Since most teams have been practicing already, Jared Eichelberger from Baseball ASAP and his staff will be teaching new ideas to keep the kids motivated during practices and improve their game. The cost for this clinic will be $20.00. Also at SWVLL, District 42 Information Officer/Chief Scorekeeper Jon Haslerud will be giving a refresher course on scorekeeping at 1:00 PM.  The cost is free.  SWVLL is located at 3321 Conduit Road in Bonita.

We have scheduled a T-Ball Jamboree meeting for March 9, 2011 at 6:30 PM at Chula Vista American (CVA) Little League. CVA is located behind Hilltop Middle School at 44 East J Street in Chula Vista.  Each league please have your T-Ball representative or a league rep attend this meeting.

We have also scheduled a meeting for your league's Safety Officer.  The meeting will take place on March 1, 2011 at 100 West 35th Street Suite B in National City.  The District's Safety Officer, Ray Diaz, will facilitate this meeting.  March 15 is the deadline to submit your ASAP to the District.  Congratulations are in order for Parkview Little League for being the first league in our District to submit and get their ASAP approved by Little League. At Thursdays Presidents meeting, SWVLL submitted their completed ASAP.
