Sam started coaching Little League in 1984 helping a friend coach a minor B team for CVA. He again coached in 1986 for his other son, also in minor B. Sam came back to Little League in 2000 to coach his son in T-ball but this time at Luckie Waller. Sam was elected to the Board of Directors as Player Agent in 2003, V.P. in 2004, and then president in 2005. This will be his 4th year as President for Luckie Waller.
For the last three years, Sam has been running an annual Memorial Tournament for leagues in our district. Sam was appointed to the District Staff in 2006 as A.D.A. for Softball.
