No child is allowed to play in two little leagues at any time. Leagues who choose to sign up children out of boundaries will place their charter in jepoardy of being revoked. This is for all ages! They must live in the boundaries of your league. If you are in doubt contact Carolyn Johnson or Shirley Glenn.
Donot forget to get the fields for the new season most parks and recs and schools require permit usage. Contact them now and set up the permit.
Snackbars must have a health inspection. If you are having problems call Carolyn or Shirley. We do have insight to help you out.
It's time for the planning of the 2010 Season...the best season starts with the volunteers so make sure you get the support of all the players parents. It will only be a good as the volunteers and we owe it to the children as adults to make sure they have the best experience possible. Managers are the only ones approved prior to the draft. Handout: Protecting Young Pitchers Arms
Sunday, July 12
Well, Congrats to the Big League team they lost the first game and came back to win against District 46. This is the first time in 15 yrs that Distrit 29 has ever beat Distirct 46 prior to that it was in 1980 when D29 won the World Series. We had a team go back to the World Series in the late 80s early 90s that lost in the world series championship against the international team. Todays game was another display of talent on both sides... it was a great game and Raymond Kuzars pitching was on today once again I heard someone say it was the best game he had seen him pitch! Chirs Chambers hit the winning home run after a two -two tie in the bottom of seventh giving the victory to D29 over D46. They all played a great game and did a great job as a team. They will play again at 5:00 PM on Monday July 13th...we wish you all good luck!
