Welcome to the Home of California District 29
Buena Park American, Buena Park National, Cerritos/Atresia/Norwalk, Cypress, La Mirada, La Palma, Little Lake, Merto/Pioneer, Norwalk, West Downey and Northwest Downey.
Little League is a developmental program for youth ages 5-18years old. to find a local league in your area contact Carolyn Johnson District Administrator at LLBCA29@aol.com or use the LLB website finder. log on to the www.littleleague.org This site is also your main go to page for all Little League information forms, rules etc.
All individuals must have an original Birth Certificate and three proofs of residency at the time of sign ups to be eligible to sign up and try out. Refer to the Little League rule book

Congrats to Gary Glenn he was selected to Umpire in the
Junior League World Series this year at Taylor Michigan. It will be the 29th Annual World Series and he is from District 29 that's great. Hope you have a wonderful experience and enjoy, it is well deserved.

Happy 4th of July to All Be safe.......All Stars will resume on July 6th it's winding down to the finals soon. Besure to come out and support the Teams as one team form each level will advance to the Section Tournaments where they will represent Distirct 29. Good Luck to All and may the Best Team win.

All Star rules are in the back of the green rule book under the pages marked T1-T32 .Everyone is playing by Tournament rules Not Regular season. Minor Divisions need to read the T rules and understand the pitching rules, substitution rules, Line up changes etc. go to handouts and refer to 2009 tournament Rule Differences.
Big League Section 5 will be hosted by D29 at Metro Little League schedule in the Handout section . Congrats to the District 29 Big League who advanced to the Divisional. They beat D38 4 to 1. They will play the first Divisional game on 7-11-09 at 4:00 PM Ruth Cruthers park in Bellflower. Great job guys!

Many Thanks to the Umpires who have volunteered their time for the All Star Games. It is greatly appreicated and the Children and Staff of District 29 Thank You.
Thank You to the many volunteer scorekeepers pitch counters and announces for making this years All Stars a smooth process. The Team effort has been great and we Thank You.
PLAYER AGENTS Reminder start gathering the documents necessary to certify the All Star Teams. Remember three proofs of Residency per Little League book page 14-15, Original Birth Certificate proofof age page16, medical release, Parent Code of Conduct and Player, Manager code of Conduct. Any child on a waiver will need to have the signed waivier in the book for verification. Maps must be done and signed off by the President for each Team.

We have Umpire Decals for any level of play they are available for $10.00 each with the Year of assignment. All money will go to purchase the ballard at the Western Region on behalf of all Volunteer Umpires. To place an order Email: Shirley Glenn at GSMGLENN@aol.com be sure to indicate in the RE section of the email - Decal order, tell me what you want and the year/s along with the contact information. You will be contacted back so you can confirm the order and send the payment.

Reminders
Player Agents should be getting ready for Regular Season/All Stars. You should get Birth Cerificates (NO Abstracts) for all players now. Three forms showing proof of residence. Medical release and map location on file. Use the League Official Checklist. Watch the Video at Little League .Org to help you fill out the paperwork.
