BYU Hockey Player Tryouts
BYU Cougars Hockey Team Tryouts begin on August 28th. The final team selections will be made on Saturday evening, August 3oth. The weekend Tryout schedule is as follows:
Thurs. Aug. 28, 2008 6:00 pm Registration/Orientation/Chalk Talk
7:45-10:30 pm Ice session
Fri. Aug. 29, 2008 6:15 pm Chalk Talk
7:45-10:30 pm Ice session
Sat. Aug. 30, 2008 8:30 am Chalk Talk
10:00-11:15 am Ice session
Sat. Aug. 30, 2008 4:00 pm Chalk Talk
5:30-6:45 pm Ice session
All sessions will be held at the Peaks Ice Arena in Provo, Utah. The cost is $40.
If you make the team, the training camp will continue on Monday, September 1st. You will need to be available for the Training Camp as it is a crucial part of the team's preparation for the season.

Tryout Details
The fall tryout is open to all players who feel they are capable of playing hockey at the intercollegiate level. However, pre-registration is required to enable the coaching staff to properly plan for the Fall Tryout Sessions. Please indicate your intention to try out as soon as possible. To ensure Educational Eligibility, you should inform us before July1st, 2008.
We are looking for qualified players with the following experience:
* ACHA Div I or II
* Junior A or B
* Midget AAA or AA
* Distinguished High School performance
