are winless on the road this year and the Cougars are undefeated at

who play on extramural teams give their effort, intensity, time and
money to be on their respective teams. BYU Hockey is a BYU "recognized
sport" which can use the university's name, but receives no funding
from the school. Player fees, gate receipts, donations and ad sales
support the team.

All of us with BYU Hockey wish to send
our sincere condolences and prayers on behalf of the friends and family
of our dear friend Kenneth Dolezsar of Springville who was fatally shot
today in Sandy, Utah. Ken was an inspiration to many and a great
supporter of hockey in Utah, including BYU Hockey and UVSC Hockey. He
will be greatly missed by many.

new hockey team consisting of approximately 15 special-needs youth,
ranging in age from 6 to 26. All of the materials and ice time are paid
for by donations. The Brigham Young University hockey team volunteers
to help with the program.

Brigham Young students will finally be acknowledged as an official
sport at BYU. The Icecats, will now don the BYU logo on its uniforms
