Lacrosse Summer Camps
Here are some lacrosse camps in the area. We are not officially endorsing any, but just wanted to pass the information on to you.
Sunday, May 27
Uniform Collection Thursday
Frank Fry will be at the Brandywine High School parking lot by the tennis courts from 6-6:30 PM on Thursday to collect uniform jersey's from players who did not turn them in last Sunday at the Tournament. If people have used equipment they wish to donate to the club we will accept that also.

2012 DYLA End of Season Tournament
Important points to consider for Sunday:
- U9 & u11 are playing at MOT Football Complex on Silver Lake Road (on the right past Middletown High School fields)
- U13/15 are playing at Middletown High School fields on Silver Lake Road
- Sunday is consider an “ALL DAY” event . . . . bring food/lunches; chairs; canopy “pop-ups”; and plenty of WATER for the boys
- BLC Uniform tops will be collected by each of the coaches after the final games, so if you leave early please give your coach the jersey!

Saturday Evening Tips
Parents, Guardians & Players,
- Saturday night Frank Fry will have $2 tickets for players and family members on sale at our games at 5 & 6 PM.
- Please have the correct change for the number of tickets you wish to purchase.
- All players must have the consent waiver completed prior to playing in their game. (Frank Fry will have extra copies on the sideline.)
- Players should plan to wear either their game jersey or the old Brandywine Lacrosse game jersey distributed the first Sunday of the season into the stadium for the UD game so we recognize each other in the stands.
- Please arrive 30 minutes prior to you game time so we can be organize to start on time.
- DRESS WARM for the UD vs Drexel game at 7 PM...it will be chilly when the sun goes down!!!

Schedule Change for March 31st / April 2
Parents,
Next Saturday night we have the opportunity to move our games to the University of Delaware turf fields rather than Sunday at Middletown. This will prevent a VERY long afternoon at Middletown fields. The UD Men's LAX team plays Drexel at 7 PM on the Stadium field that night and following our games the boys and families can attend the college lacrosse game. We realize that this is a late notification for the game change and may inconvenience some families. If you cannot attend it is understandable, but this is a special opportunity for our club and the boys to play on truf fields.
We will play the following schedule:

Below is our schedule for the upcoming months. Times will be added as we get them, but for now, we give you the date and location.

Players should arrive at least 30 minutes prior to game time and bring fluids for their game.
Friday, March 16
Practice Schedule for Week of March 18th
On Sunday, March 18th, the U9 and U11 practice at Brandywine High School from 1 to 3 pm.
U9 will practice on Monday and Thursday from 5:30 to 7:00 pm at Brandywine High School.
U11 will practice on Tuesday and Thursday from 5:30 to 7:00 pm at Brandywine High School.
U13 and U15 will practice on Monday and Wednesday from 5:30 to 7:00 pm at Brandywine High School.
Thursday, March 15
U13/15 Scrimmage Sunday
The U13/15 teams will be participating in a Youth Day Scrimmage in Middletown on Sunday, March 18th. This scrimmage is used to get the boys some playing time as well as training for some of the young referees who will be reffing our matches this spring.
We do not have enough boys to support two different U13 and U15 teams. In order for us to play, the U13 boys will be playing up on the U15 team. We will continue to make sure all boys get adequate playing time. Please do not think if you son is U13, he will not get much playing time on the U15 team. We are an instructional club and all boys will play.
Games will be 30 minutes long and on Field 2. Our schedule is as follows:
12:30 Brandywine vs. MIddletown
1:30 Brandywine vs. Cecil
2:00 Brandywine vs. Newark
Directions
1. Route 1 South
2. Exit on Route 299 W towards Middletown
3. Travel approximately 1 mile on Rt 299 and then left (after Middletown H.S.) on Silver Lake Rd.
4. About half a mile down the road on the right are the lacrosse fields.
Sunday, March 11
Practices for Week of March 12th
Parents we had a beautiful day to distribute the uniforms and the boys look good in them, but they should only wear them to games and scrimmages from now on. They just need their reversible practice jerseys now for regular practices.
The schedule will be that same again this week for the weekday practices.
U9 & U11 teams will practice Tuesday & Thursday 5:30-7:00 PM
U13 & U15 teams will practice Monday & Wednesday 5:30-7:00 PM
All practices at Brandywine High School until further notice.
Next Sunday the U13/U15 team will scrimmage down in Middletown from 12-3 PM.
The exact schedule and directions will be available later this week on the website.
