Coach Tim and B-Vets-
last year my son played with the B-Vets and he learned a lot. He got to play every position, had a lot of fun, and was up to bat almost every inning. This year, we thought we were very lucky to have signed him up for SPYA which is closer to our home. I wish we would have stayed with B-Vets. Although my son's team is in second place and going to the playoffs, this year had little fun for him. He was in right field when he wasn't on the bench, and was so nervous from the pressure my normally great hitting son struck out a lot. The only goal to this team was winning, so the best players always had the best positions, and the rest, well they just sat out. Many mothers were upset, but by the time we realized what was going on, it was too late. So....I would rather have my son in last place, than have him in second and counting clovers in right field or sitting on the bench while the coaches kids get all the good positions. Coach Tim was great, and if Nick plays again next year, we are coming back to B-Vets. You guys may not realize it now, but I'm sure you had a much better season than my son did. Thanks coach Tim, I'm sure you did a great job this year, just like last year. And I'm sure your kids played!
