Josh Woods led the way placing 33rd at Mt. SAC Friday in a time of 16:48. The boys team time of 87:08 was 22 seconds faster than our goal. Many ran faster than last year. Sophomore Alex Salinas improved the most placing fourth on the team in 17:55, 2 minutes and four seconds faster than last year. Erick Aranda came home with an individual medal placing 8th in the JV race (18:22). The boy’s sophomores were led by Alan Bradford’s 22nd place performance in 18:19. Freshman Fernando Ariza was the top in his class placing 39th in 19:09.
Sunday, October 23
On a very hot, hilly and slow course, the boys cross country teams raced well again placing second behind Granite Hills with very similar results to the first Desert Sky League Meet. Joshua Woods led the way for the boys in fifth place in 18:56. Transfer Travis Stokes led the JV finishing in second in 20:54. He earned a spot to run on Varsity this week at Mt. SAC and was cleared by CIF to do so.

The date will be Thursday, November 17 @ 6 pm in the Burroughs Multi-Use Room and will be catered by Casa Corona. Athletes will eat free and parents and guests will be $10. Please RSVP by Monday, November 14. More details to come.
