| My name is Amanda (Page) Pitts and I am alumni Burroughs CC and Track and I just wanted to tell coach Barnes thank you. He once told me that one of the great parts of running is that you can do it all your life and I wanted to let him know I am still at it. I work full time as an RN and have an 11 month old and a 2 1/2 year old and I just finished the Bakersfield half marathon in 1:47, finishing first for the female 20-24 year old age group. | Dear all Burroughs XC runners an coach Barnes. Congrats to your advancement to CIF. I hope for the best for the boys and girls and show them what big talent little RC has. I am on a fast attack sub in Pearl Harbor. I just went on a 1 month deplyment and had a good time. I am a reactor operator so that means I control and operate the reactor. I sure miss staying in shape with you guys and running in dry heat. I wish you all the best and reach all your goals this year. Later. |
