Congratulations to the 2012 COBRA Players.
The COBRA Player/Parent Meeting is at 1:00 pm on Sunday, May 20th at the HOUSE at Alimagnet Park. The playing fee for the up coming season is $550.00. At the meeting the players are HIGHLY encouraged to bring their birth certificate WITH THE RAISED SEAL. COPIES ARE NOT ALLOWED FOR LEGION PLAY.

For the 2012 season the head coach of the Burnsville Cobras will continue to be Greg Nesbitt. Greg has been in the Burnsville legion program for the last 18 years; 3 years as a player, 4 years as an assistant coach with the Rattlers, 3 years as the head coach of the Pythons, and this will be his 8th season with the Cobras. Greg lives in Prior Lake with his son Wyatt.
Josh Threlkeld will be returning to the coaching staff for the 2012 season. This will be Josh's 5th year as an assistant coach of the Cobras. Josh played on the Cobras during the 2006 & 2007 seasons. Josh is currently attending University of Minnesota - Duluth and majoring in Education. Josh was a 4 year starter for the UMD Bulldogs baseball team. Josh lives with his parents, little brothers, and sister in Burnsville.
New to the Cobra's coaching staff for the 2012 season will be Carter Sackett. Carter played for the Cobras from 2005 to 2007. He is the program's all time leader in Homeruns and RBIs. Carter is a recent graduate from Georgia State University with a degree in Economics and Marketing. Carter was a 2 year starter on the baseball team at Georgia State. Before that Carter attended Iowa Central Community College. Carter will primarily be working with catchers and outfielders along with assisting in hitting.
Also new this year will be "voluntary" assitant coach Adam Lambrecht. Adam played two years for the Cobras in 2010 & 2011. Adam will work primarily with the pitchers and serve as bench coach. Adam will be attending North Dakota State University in the Fall of 2012 where he will play baseball for the Bison.
I look forward to see you all at the ballpark this summer.
