RECREATIONAL BASEBALL NEWS
We have enjoyed having your team play this season & hope that you’ve had a great time as well. We are encouraged by the progress the city is making toward our new park. We appreciate your patience and understanding this year as we’ve been temporarily playing at the softball complex. We look forward to a more settled season next spring in our NEW complex. We are always looking for great parent volunteers so if you’re interested, please contact a board member to see the location of our next board meeting. Please check our website for new complex updates. Don’t forget 2010 Spring Registration in February.

NEW COMPLEX NEWS

BPAA is working very hard with the mayor’s office, NLR Park & Recreation’s office, and the city to complete our new baseball complex within the boundaries of Burns Park. As of this date, the fields will not be completed this 2009 season. Various circumstances prevent the completion. Everyone’s goal is to have the fields completed as soon as possible.

Projected opening 2010!
BPAA will continue to play baseball and hold tournaments and league. The NLR Softball Association and their board has been so very gracious to allow our association time on their fields this season until the baseball fields are complete.

We play youth baseball ages 3-8. (fall ball accommodates ages 3-18) We do not have info regarding softball, tennis, soccer, American Legion baseball/Optimist Club Fields/DeJanis Field or any other sport or activity at Burns Park. Please locate those associations from the blue pages in the NLR section of the phone book.
