Burkburnett Soccer Association: BSA Story

Friday, December 28
In 2005, Larry Jansen saw a need for our community to have a local soccer program. He took the steps to create the Burkburnett Soccer Association, and build the foundation for what it has become. The Burkburnett soccer association prides itself on being a family oriented soccer program that caters to children ages three and up. Our ultimate goal is to provide a setting that is positive to the growth of soccer as a sport, and help to build the self esteem, character, and sportmanship of all those participating. There have been several individuals who have spent countless hours building this amazing program, from board members, to parent volunteers, and coaches, we are always grateful for everything each person contributes.
The last 2 years the association has been striving for new, bigger, better experiences for the families in our association thanks to the hard work of Britni Landers, Amber Dorsey, and Shirley Shell. We also have a few new additions to the board who are pitching in greatly, so thanks to AmyBeth Ball, Alicia Fennessy, and Quita Bernal! This Spring season we hope to builld our Soccer Fest Tournament even bigger than last years and hope to be able to invite other associations to play in it. We are looking forward to an awesome Spring season, and hope to see you all there! We hope to continue to grow this program with the support of our community and those who are a part of this great association.
