NEW!- 3/2009- Ray Barnes Summer 2009 basketball camps-
Day Camps are 9AM to 5PM July 6-10, July 13-17, July 20-24 for Boys and Girls ages 10 to 17
Cost is $100 per player.
The overnight summer camp for boys is July 30 to August 3. Cost is $300.
All camps held at Lake Grove School- 459R Wallingford Road in Durham,CT.

This 2009 season will be dedicated to the memory of our #1 fan Mr Hampton Watson Sr. 9/22/08 "What about them Bulldogs!" You will truly be missed.
The Middletown Bulldogs started in 2001 with the vision to teach our youth the fundamentals of basketball, team work, fair play and positive attitude. We started out with three teams and have increased in 2004 to six teams. and we had six teams in 2005 due to the high demand of youth that want to play the game of basketball. In 2006 we had 9 teams eight teams of young men and one team of young ladies. We are glad to have had 3 of the best of best juniors in the state according to the CT Pro ,College, High School News from The Hartford Courant 1/6/2005, (Chauncey Hardy, Chevar Rankins and Amari Spievey). These three young men along with others have lead one of the Bulldog teams to a D2 national championship game placing number 2 in the nation in the year of 2003. In the year 2007 these young men along with Stephen Faulkner are now in college and can be seen playing at Iowa,Sacred Hart,Stoneybrook and Western. Bulldogs Seniors to watch are Middletown High School's 2007(Dominic Tenn now at Mount Ida College,Andre Francis Attending Western CT)and Rashaun Watson who is attending Mount Ida College . Piere Simpson Springfield College & Dustin Trail anttending college in California(East Hartford High),Charles Sims (Glastonbury)Josh Hodge (Hall) Alfonso Wilkerson(Plainville High) attending college in Maine, Mark Micowski(Xavier)now attending college in Maine, Demonte Holley(Vinal), Brandon Ruberti(Daniel Hand High)Danny Gonzalez leading scorer in the state in 2007. (East Windsor)Marquis Jackson, Jeron Belin of whom you can read about in college paper below, Big John Jenkins, and #3 guard in the state Rashemell Vereen (Maloney High) now attending Franklin Pierce college in New Hampshire. Tribune men split weekend pair
DETROIT - The MCC men’s basketball team lost to host Mott CC on Friday before rebounding to top Jackson CC Saturday at the Bruin Club Classic.
The Tribunes are 9-2 on the season. They fell to Mott 78-71 and topped Jackson 73-59.
In a rematch of the 2007 national championship game, No. 5 Mott held on to defeat No. 9 Monroe in the opener. Jeron Belin (Meriden, CT/Maloney) had a big game for the Tribunes with 22 points and 11 rebounds.
Jeremy Hunter (Buffalo, NY/Hutch Tech) added 16 points and Mark Lake Jr. (Harlem, NY/All Hallows) had 12.
Tim Cokley (Ft. Lauderdale, FL/South Plantation) chipped in with 11 rebounds.
MC rebounded in Saturday’s contest. Belin registered his third straight double-double with 22 points and 14 rebounds, while Kareem Brown (New London, CT/New London) added 16 points and six assists.
Lake finished with 14 points. Monroe had 20 assists on 27 made baskets.
