Boys' Town take title
It was high drama at the Harbour View mini-stadium on Saturday as Boys' Town came from behind to beat Bull Bay 4-3 in a pulsating second leg of the JNBS/KSAFA Super League final, taking the title 6-4 on aggregate.

Andrew Wheeler equalised for Boys' Town in the 58th minute before Edwards restored Bull Bay's lead after 69 minutes.
Six minutes from time, captain Fitzroy Anglin converted from the spot to level the score 4-4 on aggregate to send the game into extra-time.

Oneil Thompson put Boys' Town in front 5-4 on aggregate in the 110th minute, before the veteran Anglin sealed the issue with a second penalty kick in the 123rd minute.

Andrew Price, Boys' Town's coach, was emotional and praised his players character and determination.
"When I tell people that this team can score goals, they don't understand what I mean, I hope they understand now.

"No matter what the deficit, we can score goals. We went two goals down and we battled and fought. We went into extra-time and we got the required goal, because this team has determination and is focused and we just looked at this game as an obstacle.

"We have got the obstacle out of the way and it's now time to move on to the next level which is to qualify for the Premier League," he said.

Bull Bay came out looking business-like from the opening whistle and had Boys' Town, known as the 'Red Brigades', against the ropes for the entire first half.

Marvin Mundy made two crucial early saves for the 'Red Brigades', but was helpless when Edwards stabbed home Eric Allison's cross.

Bull Bay took the lead for the first time in the final, when the ball fell kindly for Taylor after a mix-up in the Boys' Town defence and the former Waterhouse player beat goalkeeper Mundy with a well-placed shot to the far post.
The East Kingston side dominated the rest of the half.

For the first 10 minutes of the second half, Boys' Town came out still looking flat but they eventually came to life when Troy Dawes crashed a left-footed shot against the bar in the 55th. They stormed Bull Bay's goal afterwards and found an equaliser when Wheeler squeezed a low shot through a crowd of players and into the net.

The momentum then shifted Bull Bay's way again, and Xavean Virgo had to clear Edwards' header off the line.
But the striker made no mistake minutes later when Mundy punched a ball which Edwards volleyed into the net from the top of the area.

With time running out, Boys' Town were thrown a life-line when Michael Campbell's shot hit a defender's hand en route to goal. Referee Peter Prendergast immediately pointed to the spot. Anglin converted the kick to tie the score 4-4 on aggregate.

The first period of extra-time failed to produce any goals, but five minutes into the second period, Dawes released Thompson who advanced into the area and unleashed a vicious thunderbolt past Andrew Land in goal.

Bull Bay then had a glorious chance to level the score at the death after a Boys' Town defender handled the ball from Milton Griffith's shot.

But Taylor's spot kick came off the post and back into play.
On the counter-attack, Campbell outsped three Bull Bay defenders before being brought down inside the box by Land. Anglin then fired home the resulting kick to seal the victory for his team.

Although Bull Bay's coach Barrington Gaynor thought his team gave the game away, he said it was Boys' Town's fate.

"Boys' Town seem more determined than us, because even when we went up they were still fighting. We got our opportunity at the end of extra-time to bring the game level and we missed it, so I think we gave away our chances there. But probably it's a matter of destiny."
