Bull Bay, Whitfield Town make bold statements
Bull Bay recorded the biggest victory in the Super League, while Whitfield Town did likewise in the Major League, as action continued in the JNBS-sponsored KSAFA competitions at the weekend.
Bull Bay, who are hoping for an improved season and a shot at returning to the National Premier League (NPL), recorded a 5-1 home win over Barbican, while Whitfield Town hammered Allman/Woodford, 6-0.
In other Super League results, Santos edged Mountain View United, 2-1; Boys' Town pegged Shortwood, 1-0; August Town stopped Real Mona, 2-1, and JDF beat Marverley, 3-0.
In the Major League, Brown's Town defeated Maxfield, 2-1; Duhaney Park clipped Cavalier, 1-0; Olympic Gardens came out 2-0 winners over Meadhaven; Rae Town squeezed past Greenwich Town, 3-2, and Police National were 1-0 winners over Central Kingston.
