New President Elect to KSAFA
The Bi-Annual congress of the Kingston and St. Andrew Football Association (KSAFA) was held on Saturday, August 28, 2004 at the Jamaica Conference Centre. At the congress, Ambassador Stewart Stephenson was elected to serve as President for the next two (2) years. This is the Ambassador's second stint as president, after serving in that position four years ago before being appointed Ambassador to Cuba. The challenger for the post of president was Orville Marshall, who was appointed in April after then President, Carlton Barclay was elected treasurer to the Jamaica Football Federation.
President elect, Ambassador Stephenson, promises to focus on the smaller Clubs in the Confederation who have been struggling, by ensuring that the larger, more viable Clubs gives the necessary guidance and assistance needed.
The President's team is completed with Carvel Stewart (1st Vice President), Carlton Dennis (2nd Vice President), Rudolph Speid (Treasurer), Brian Rose (Asst Treasurer), David Hunt (General Secretary) and Gregory Simms (Asst Gen Secretary).
