LeeAnn Hold is another new awesome runner that we are overjoyed to have on the Buffalo Babes. LeeAnn is one of the up-and-coming youth Buffalo Chips having run for the club for quite a while now. She had a spring injury which cut short her track season last year but she did manage a 3000m PR in 10:42, which is very good for 8th grade.

Last year in XC, she won the girls Foot Locker Middle School race at Mt. SAC. Her time was 8:30. One week later, in the freezing conditions at Rim Rock Farm in Lawrence, Kansas she took 19th place and made All-American at the USATF Junior Olympics.
(Note: Fellow Buffalo Babe Tiffany Heflin won the Foot Locker West middle school race three times! from 2004-2006.)

LeeAnn also plays competitive soccer for the San Juan 95's and her younger sister Sydney is also a comp soccer player and youth Buffalo Chip runner.

LeeAnn already has a road race PR of 18:53 (whew!) and did a time of 1:39 in a half marathon. That event was in Vancouver, Canada where she raised $6000 for the Leukemia Society's Team in Training. Anytime the Buffalo Babes can add a bright, fast, polite, and conscientious young lady, it's time to celebrate. Welcome LeeAnn!!
