2008 CROSS COUNTRY RESULTS RESULTS
The DyeStatCal crew was out 'en force' for the opening weekend of action Reno Twilight Meet - Fri Aug 29 - Reno NV - results Coverage - Rich's pix - Joe's Dyestat pix - Joe's Babes Pix - Doug's race video (6:04) - Kelsey/Shelby video interview (3:18) (they were happy!) They're out of the gate flying! They were among the youngest at the meet, but these Babes were the stars under the stars. Congrats to Kelsey for winning, to Shelby and Kira for shining as bright as the lights in their first ever HS XC meet. Congrats to Woodcreek for winning and to STHS for a very close second. Great things lie ahead for these two teams and coaches Wilvers and McKillop ... take that to the bank.

The First Aid tent after the seeded race was standing, er, sitting room only. But the HS kids in the 14 HS races at the 35th Stanford Invitational were better than the weather, time after time overcoming aches, pains, and fatigue to help their team. Shelby takes 4th in Div 4A, (4th fastest overall NV time) which is amazing for a freshman Poor Kira was pretty sick and had a tough day but we love her anyhow. She wins a medal anyhow cuz.... Second Team All-West + If there was a Third Team (kinda confusing?), LeeAnn, Marissa, and Samantha were all on it. + Buffalo Babes pile all six into the top 34 of the 146-strong senior race led by Sammi's 9th and Olivia's 11th + California sweeps the girls team scoring... Eight Buffalo Babes help the Golden State cause (top 7): Jacque, Breanne, Maxine, Denise, Christine, Sammi, Olivia, Sara + Shelby McIntyre is #3 freshman in the West, 4th Buffalo Babe overall + Kira finishes ahead of 198 runners in the Frosh/Soph open race + Despite starting 5 yds back, Hayley (19:35) and Nicole (19:41) prove they belonged on the seeded front line. + Middle School: Youth Chip Allison Klas finishes inside the Top Ten ...
