Check Out Our Sponsor List Voices Across the Mat OFFICIAL JD MALONE MOST PINS IN AHSAA HISTORY BLUE & GOLD INTER-SQUAD MATCH Huntsville, AL April 10, 2007 The AHSAA website now reports that JD Malone of Buckhorn High School is now the Lone holder of the AHSAA Wrestling Record for the Most Pins in a Single Season. JD was 60-6 overall with 46 pins this season. JD had a fantastic season and we are all very proud of him. We all look forward to JD's senior season it should be something to watch. Huntsville, AL April 10, 2007 The BHS Blue & Gold Inter-Squad match will be held Friday Nov 16th in the Blue Gym. This match settles weight class starters at the beginning of the year and also runs in a match and tournament environment. Admission is $1.00 Wrestling Stories and News HUNTSVILLE TIMES ALL-METRO WRESTLING LIST ANNOUNCED Huntsville, AL March 29, 2007 The Huntsville Times printed it's annual All-Metro Wrestling list. The All-Metro List was printed Thursday (03/29) in the Sports Section of the Huntsville Times. List included Matt Taunton, Zac Byrd, JD Malone, and Honorable Mentions Ben Smith, Jake Gord, Jacob Quimby, and Justin Goodrich. Read More... TWO BUCKS REPRESENTED AT NHSCA SOPHOMORE AND JUNIOR NATIONALS Virginia Beach, VA March 28-30, 2007 Nationals raises the bar for each wrestler that competes in the tournament. Few wrestlers that attend Nationals have much success the first time around. However, after experiencing the tournament the goals of each wrestler and the training that he must attain and endure to be sucessful at this level are revived and focused. This is the success that JD and Matt have now over all Alabama wrestlers from their classes.
