"Back-to-Basics" Baseball Camps at the Shore - Summer of 2014!

"Back-to-Basics" Baseball Camps at the Shore provides baseball instruction in hitting, fielding, catching, pitching, base running, and game situation and strategy. Our focus is on providing high quality Baseball Camps and Clinics for youths, Grades 2 - 9. Our emphasis is on teaching the fundamental mechanics of all aspects of baseball so that all participants of our camps and clinics can improve upon the skills they already possess.

"Back-to-Basics" is run by Director Tom Gihorski. There will be no other camp like ours for your child's baseball development and enjoyment. We have:

                                          Experienced Instructors
Great Location with Easy Access for Player Drop-off and Pick-up
                                                Championship Baseball Fields
                                                   Covered Picnic Area for Eating
Indoor Facilities in Case of Rain
                                             Certified Athletic Trainers

Our Camp for the Summer of 2014, will be held at the Davies Complex, Middle Township Recreation Center, located on Goshen Road, Cape May Court House. We have 4 Youth League sized fields and 1 College/Major League Baseball sized field that we will be utilizing. To accomodate as much individual instruction as possible, players are grouped according to age/grade and skill ability. We do this to maximize each player's learning experience.

We now have a second location: Our second week of camp will be held at the Carl Mitnick School Fields, located on 905 Seashore Road, Cape May.  We have 4 fields that can accomodate all age groups.

In the event of rain at both complexs, we have indoor facilities (gymnasium and classrooms for instruction, video tapes, lectures, and guest speakers).

On the last day of camp, we have an awards ceremony. We present achievement award certificates to all campers and trophies to the top campers in each age group. We also present a special award to the "camper of the week" in addition to "camper of the day" every day.
