Bay State Magic Summer Recap
A quick recap of how the Bay State Magic are doing on the summer AAU circuit when only the elite teams are still playing:
17U Jenkins - Tenth out of 132 teams at the Nationals with a 15-5 record during the July recruiting periods.
16U Aborn - Won the Harley Davidson Jamfest at West Virginia University and went 3-1 at the Nike Main Event in Las Vegas.
15U Gibson - Went 3-3 at the 15U Division I Nationals in Kingsport, Tennessee.
14U - Are currently 1-1 in pool play at the 14U Division I Nationals in Orlando, Florida after having lost a tough game (just 13 points) to Team California, last year's 13U championns.
12U Falcetta - Advanced to the quarterfinals of the Nike Summer Youth Basketball Championships in Las Vegas before falling to a tough team from Las Vegas. The field had 34 teams in it.

Former Coach Mark Liston Reaches Out From Abroad
Mark Liston, who was an assistnat coach with the first two Bay State Magic boys teams that were assembled, is currently serving his country in the United States Air Force. Mark is a Staff Sargeant and is stationed in Iraq. The attached photo is Mark and his teammates that he flies with while doing surveillance with the military police. Stay safe Mark!
