Brownstown Little League: Welcome
Brownstown Little League is a non-profit organization serving over 500+ families each year thoughout Brownstown, Gibralter, Grosse Ile, Rockwood (East of I-75),Trenton, and Woodhaven. Brownstown Little League offers a fun and competitive youth baseball and fast-pitch softball experience for boys and girls ages 5 to 18 years old.
It is the desire of Brownstown Little League to implant firmly in the children of the communities the ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage and respect for authority, so that they may be well-adjusted, stronger and happier children and will grow to be good, decent, healthy and trustworthy citizens. It is the desire of Brownstown Little League to promote and provide an environment that achieves these goals.
Brownstown Little League is affiliated with Little League International, and is a member of Michigan's District 5. Our league is entirely funded by registration fees, concession profits, sponsor donations, and is operated by dozens of volunteers. Thank you to all of you who make this league what it is!

We would like to invite all baseball and softball players ages 5 to 18 years old that live in Brownstown, Woodhaven, Gibraltar, Trenton, Grosse Ile, and Rockwood E. of I-75 to our registration on Wednesday, February 15, 2012. Register at the Brownstown Community Center on the corner of Telegraph and King Road, from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm. Please register at this time to guarantee a spot on a team. Registration packets can be printed in advance by clicking on handouts.

First child is $50.00, 2nd child is $45.00, 3rd child is $35.00 each additional child in same family is free. Each child is responsible for selling 50 raffle tickets ($50.00 for a pack of 50), payment is due at registration.
A separate check for $25.00 will be collected and held as a volunteer deposit. After volunteering for one two hour shift during the season your $25.00 will be returned to you (concession, field prep, fundraising, etc).

Each team will be in full uniform and can have 1 car, van, or truck that is decorated in the parade. The players will walk in two rows with no more than 3 adults, (their must be 3 adults for coach pitch and farm) behind their team’s car, van, or truck. There will be 3 trophies to be awarded to the car, van, or truck based on team spirit. We will march from Hunter school down Relda rd. to Gibraltar rd. we will turn left on Gibraltar rd. and march down to the Fort-Gib ballpark, the Brownstown police will be blocking off the streets for our parade. Once at the field we will be having an opening day ceremony. After the ceremony each player, manager, and coach will receive a pin, schedule/sponsor booklet, hot dog, and a drink. We will try to stay as close as possible to the schedule below. NOTE: RAFFLE TICKET SALES ARE OVER APRIL 20, 2012
10:00 am We will start lining up for the parade, there will be signs posted for each teams in the westside parking lot and teams that need to finish decorating their vehicles can do it at this time.
11:00 am The parade will start with the Coach Pitch Softball, Coach Pitch Baseball, Farm Softball, Farm Baseball, Minor Softball, and Minor baseball, Major Softball, followed by the Major Baseball.
11:30 am Opening day ceremony, 3 top ticket seller prizes, 3 trophies for team spirit, and introducing of the teams.

NOTE: PLEASE DO NOT PARK ON RELDA RD ROCHE RD. IN FRONT OF HUNTER SCHOOL. OR HUNTER SCHOOL’S WESTSIDE PARKING LOT, WE NEED TO KEEP IT CLEARED FOR THE PARADE. PLEASE PARK IN THE FRONT PARKING LOT WHEN DROPPING OFF THE PLAYERS IF YOU STAY AT THE SCHOOL PLEASE LEAVE ½ HOUR BEFORE THE START OF THE PARADE BECAUSE THE BROWNSTOWN POLICE WILL BE BLOCKING OFF ALLEN RD., GIBRALTAR RD., AND THE ENTRANTS TO FORT-GIB PARK. AFTER YOU DROP OFF THE PLAYERS PLEASE PARK IN THE FRONT PARKING LOT OF THE SHOPPING STRIP ALONG GIBRALTAR RD. TO WATCH THE PARADE. PARENTS AND FAMILY PLEASE DON’T WALK ALONG WITH THE PARADE THE PLAYERS LIKE IT WHEN THEIR PARENTS AND FAMILY ARE WATCHING THEM WALK BY IN THE PARADE. THERE IS NO PARKING IN THE FIRE STATION, CREDIT UNION, OR THE DOCTOR OFFICE PARKING LOT NEXT TO THE FORT-GIB FIELDS AT ANYTIME. CARS WILL BE TOWED.
