General Sign Up Information
Ages for each division are based on player's age on January 1, 2011. We will have teams in 8 & under 10 & under; 12 & under; 14 & under and High School. We will have at least 6 players on each team. The cost of the upcoming 2011 spring season will be $125.00 per player. However, the league is continuing the “Bring-A-Friend Campaign” which means that if you have played in Brookside Roller Hockey League in the past and you bring a new player into the league that did not play last year, the cost to both players is reduced to $100.00 each. You can either sign up by mail before March 25, 2011 or in-person on March 26, 2011 at player evaluations. The League has a limited supply of hockey helmets and gloves that can be borrowed for use during the season. Those needing equipment will be fitted at player evaluations.

Player Evaluations & Team Selection
New Developments:
The League received lots of positive feed back on the evaluation process and team selection. While never perfect, it does make for more even play. No teams can enter the League as an entire team. All teams will be made up from a player pool from each age division based on player skill evaluations. ALL PLAYERS IN ALL DIVISIONS ARE ENCOURAGED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE EVALUATIONS. We use this to keep the all teams even and competitive. Players will find out which team they are on when they are contacted by their coaches.
