February 4, 2009 at Hudson Catholic HS. Wednesday marked the 1st day of the National Signing Period for football players to declare where they will spend their college careers. Jason, a 6'1" 185 lb senior RB/FS, was a three (3) year starter for the Hudson Catholic HS (Jersey City, NJ) Hawks.

Jason and the Hawks reached the Non-Public Group II Championship game vs the Holy Cross HS (Delran, NJ). Unfortunately Hudson Catholic played a tough game vs the Lancers and loss by a score of 7-0. This marked the 1st time in school history that they reached a State Championship game.
In 2007, Jason led his team in rushing with over 900 yards and scored 10 tds. On defense, Jason anchored the Hawks secondary with his tough hitting and ball-hawking abilities. For his efforts, Jason was also named 1st team All-Hudson County RB by the Jersey Journal and Star Ledger.

That completed an Undefeated season for the Pee Wees.
We wish Jason continued success in his upcoming career at the University of Pittsburgh.

The Intros played a hard fought defensive game on Saturday, December 6th vs the Lynvet Cardinals at Mitchel Athletic Complex in Uniondale (LI), NY. The game saw some exciting plays but mostly a defensive struggle throughout the match.
With the Lynvets leading 12-8, the Skyhawk defense played tough on the last Lynvet series in the 4th quarter and gave the ball to the offense on the Skyhawk 30 yd. line with only 18 seconds left in the game. After an incomplete pass on 1st down and with only 4 secs. left, Skyhawk QB launched a rocket pass deep into the Lynvet seconadry. Both the Skyhawk WR and Lynvet defender tipped the ball in the air and Skyhawk fullback Anthony Sorrentino caught the tipped pass and raced the remaining 20 yards for the deciding touchdown.
Anthony Sorrentino had continued on his pass route and simply ran to the area where the ball was thrown. His hustle on the play enabled the Skyhawks to score and win the game.
Final score SKYHAWK Intros 14 - Lynvet Cardinals 12
