NEW ENGLAND POP WARNER DIVISION 1 REGIONAL RUNNER UPS!
Our Midgets played their hearts out against the Malden Cyclones in Worcester, MA for the New England Pop Warner Regional Championship. We came up short losing a heartbreaking game. Our boys held their heads high and finished 'til the end. You have a lot to be proud of. Out of 432 Midget teams you made it as one of the final 2 in the New England Regional Championship. Many of you are going off to High School and you better believe that we will be attending your games. On a final note we want to remind you to work your butts off in the classroom. You can't put all your efforts on the field only. Remember you are a student-athlete, student first. Pitbulls Baby! We love you all and we will miss you guys.

REGIONAL MADNESS!
On Sunday, November 19, 2006, our Junior Midgets in the second round of the New England Regional Playoffs, faced off against the Boston Raiders of Central Massachusetts in Bridgeport, CT at Kennedy Field. Not a slouch team, actually the defending New England Regional Champs, no stranger to regionals. Their organization has been around for 31 years and they have advanced to Disney World, Florida in previous years, on more than one occasion. This was a hard fought game. Our Junior Midgets scored in the first quarter and that was the only touchdown for the entire game. It ended in a 6-0 win. The defense was on. Way to go guys.
REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP BABY!!!
Providence, Rhode Island here we come! As Junior Midget New England Regional Finalists, on Sunday, November 26, 2006 at 12:30pm we will face the Dorchester Eagles of Eastern Massachusetts for the New England Regional Championship. WOW! Can I say that again, the New England Regional Championship. The sweet sound of success. Through lots of hard work we have made it thus far to be able to give our participants an experience of a life time. All praises to the Most High. We have a CHAMPIONSHIP to fight for and what a fight it is going to be.
NEW ENGLAND REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP RUNNERUPS
We are being called the greatest Cinderella story ever. Coming from a 4-4 season record, to winning the Southern Connecticut State Championship, to beating the defending Regional Champs, Boston Raiders to being the first team to score on the 5 peat Dorchester Eagles in regional play. The score ended in a loss of 14-26. We scored 1st in the first quarter and the extra point. The Eagles tried to tie it up, but did not get the extra point making it a 7-6 ballgame. Before half time the Eagles were leading 7-19. We came back and scored again and walked in for the extra point putting us in the ballgame with a score of 14-19. The Eagles then took the lead with some great passes and receptions. We had opportunities to equalize the playing field but could not capitalize on them. We gave Dorchester a run for their money. They can't say they weren't worried. I can tell you that they now know who the Pitbulls are, as do everyone else. We gained our respect. Cinderella, I think not. Just good old fashioned coaching.
Pitbulls Baby! We'll be back....

We are happy to share with you the news about the fourth annual Pop Warner Nationwide Kickoff. The Pop Warner Nationwide Kickoff (formerly Simultaneous Kickoff) is designed to promote participation in youth football, celebrate the start of the Pop Warner season and is Pop Warner’s national effort to support the NFL’s and USA Football’s “Play Football” initiative. The event also represents the start for our programs as their Road to the Pop Warner Super Bowl and National Cheer and Dance Championships, where 64 football teams from across the country and more than 300 cheerleading squads compete for a national title at Disney’s Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, FL.
Additional elements from Giants Stadium will include Pop Warner programs lining up next to the NY Giants and Cleveland Browns for the National Anthem and an eight-minute scrimmage at Halftime featuring the Jr. Pee Wee teams (ages 8-10) the Fairfield Giants vs. Franklin Township. The New York Giants have also provided complimentary tickets to the game for local Pop Warner organizations.
