Who Are You
BACKGROUND CHECKS

Volunteers and coaches are being trained every year to offer the best and safest programs for you and your children.

To have a leadership role in youth football and cheer & dance it is required for all head coaches to pass a coaching education course.

In addition, youth programs nationwide are required to annually conduct a background check of: Coaches, Board of Directors members and any other persons, volunteers or hired workers, who provide regular service to the league and/or have repetitive access to, or contact with, players and/or spirit participants. The purpose of these background checks is, first and foremost, to protect the children.

If you would like to volunteer for our program please contact us.

Volunteer positions include, but are not limited to:

  • Head Coach
  • Assistant Coaches
  • Team Mom
  • Student Demonstrator
  • Trainer
  • Equipment Manager
  • League Board Member
  • Association Board Member

Have Time To Be A Coach?

A Coach Volunteer is a demanding position that requires patience, time, and devotion. A Coach has to be there from the start of practice and games until the end. They must know all the rules and regulations of the game. It is also MANDATORY that they attend clinics to improve on their coaching skills. They must have thick skin.

Have Time To Be A Team Mom?
A Team Mom Volunteer is a demanding position that requires patience, time, and devotion. A Team Mom acts as a form of communication between the membership of Brooklyn Pitbulls Youth Football Program and its leadership. This is a way to reduce the overwhelming load of responsibilities of our volunteer coaches. By adding this position, the coaches can concentrate on doing what they volunteered to do, coach our kids.  Click here for a volunteer application.

Have Time To Be A Team Parent?
The Brooklyn Pitbulls Youth Football Program consists of volunteers servicing the community. The title of “Team Parent Volunteer” was created to help the staff on game days, on short and long excursions, special events, and any other ways needed by the Administration to help keep this program running efficiently.  Click here for a volunteer application.
