Profile:

   Coach Stokes enters his fourth season with the BHS Baseball Program. After serving his first twoyears as the Panther infield coach, the Brookhaven alumnus took over the direction of the Ole Brook pitching staff in 06 and leading them to the best statistical year in school history. Some of the highlights include a team ERA of 1.55 and only 44 walks in 180.2 innings pitched.
   An All Division player for the Panthers, Coach Stokes continued his playing career at Co-Lin. From there he went on to pitch for two years at Belhaven College in Jackson.
   Following his playing days at Belhaven, Coach Stokes stayed on as an assistant for three years where he coached the Blazer pitchers. In 2002, he moved to his high school alma mater where he joined the Panther football staff and coached the Fast Pitch Softball team. The following year he joined the baseball staff and helped lead the Panthers to the 2004 State 4A Championship.
   Coach Stokes teaches in the BHS math department. He and his wife Donna have one child, Mary Parker who is three. They are members of Jackson Street United Methodist Church.
