MISSION STATEMENT
The Bronx Highlanders Baseball Association is a non-profit baseball program for youth 18 and under. Teams compete in the Westchester Baseball Association and the Long Island Elite League. We have a unique 12 month program that provides indoor winter training which prepares our players for the next level. We also travel to various tournaments exposing our kids to a varied environment. The Highlanders are also a member of the Service Alliance for Youth through which we run baseball clinics for any interested groups or individuals. The Highlanders stress respect and dedication through a disciplined work environment. The Bronx Highlanders try to fill a need in the community through high quality instruction at a minimal cost to participants. With a network of High School and College coaches along with college recruiting specialists we can steer our players in the right direction.
Highlander History
The Bronx Highlanders began in 1997 with the sole intention of preparing young men for the challanges that lie ahead. Originally, the Highlanders organization consisted of only one team (competing in the Mickey Mantle division of the WBA). In the short history of the Highlanders, teams in the Sandy Koufax and Connie Mack divisions have been added and now consist of over 70 players and coaches. The Highlanders are members of the AABC,NABF and the FABL. We have also instructed over 500 kids by doing clinics, and that number keeps growing.
