Brockport Lacrosse: My Site News

Coach’s Report:  John Mack Lacrosse Tournament: February 9^th. Coach Egan has put together a roster for this tournament. Those players received an email with information this week. Please let Coach know ASAP if you are able to attend. There will be an informational parent meeting on Feb. 4^th. Time and place TBD. 

Westside Reapers:Summer lacrosse league for west side varsity lacrosse players.  Information on this league was sent via email last week. Tryouts for the league are February 10^th from 10:00-12:00 at SUNY Brockport. If you need the information again, please contact Barb Pratt or Coach Egan. 

Coach Egan has asked Boosters to purchase a set of 4 instructional videos from Champion Productions to use as a teaching tool for players. The price is $149.99/set of 4. The Board will vote at the next meeting. 

Inventory has been taken for helmet decals and an order will be placed for 50 “BD’s” at $2.80 each and 50 “Brockport” decals at $3.05 each, and 25 vent covers at $2.00 each. JV and Varsity helmets will have the same decals on their helmets this year.

There is currently a coaching vacancy at the JV level. 

Videotaping:There was discussion about having the Varsity games videotaped by a professional production company; for example SEVideo.  The quality is excellent but is very costly.  Videotaping games in an invaluable tool for those players that would like to continue their lacrosse at the college level. If anyone has any ideas or has any connections to a video production company please let boosters know.
