Basking Ridge Little League: Volunteers/ Work Bond

Tuesday, March 3
Volunteer Opportunities

Program Information:

All families are required to pay a $100.00 work bond when registering with the league.  Each family is asked to volunteer an estimated 4 hours to the Basking Ridge Little League in order to satisfy their work bond obligations.  If your family satisfies their work bond obligation, your work bond will be released in November 2010. If you choose not to participate in the work bond program or fail to fulfill the 4 hour work bond requirement, your $100.00 work bond will be forfeited to the Basking Ridge Little League

Managers & Designated Assistant Coaches - If you serve as a manager or are one of the manger's two(2) designated assistant coaches, your work bond requirements will be fulfilled by the time you volunteer to manage/coach.

Please note that all families, including the families of Board members, must fulfill their work bond obligations, either through managing/coaching or other volunteer opportunities.

Be sure to read this section before reviewing the pportunities to fulfill work bond obligations below:

Each volunteer opportunity lists a contact person.  If you are interested in volunteering, please use the link to e-mail the contact person and advise them of your interest. Volunteer opportunities will be filled on a first-come, first-filled basis.  If you have been selected to assist with a project, the contact person will e-mail you with the details.  If you don't receive an e-mail, it means that a sufficient number of people to handle the project responded before you.  In that case, please keep an eye out for other volunteer opportunities posted on the website.  After completion of the project for which you volunteer, the contact person will verify your participation and the amount of time you volunteered.

The volunteer opportunity postings will be updated on a weekly basis, at a minimum, during the Spring and Summer seasons and on an "as needed" basisduring the off-season.  During the off-season, we will attempt to send a blast e-mail when new volunteer opportunities are posted. If you have a question about the work bond program, please e-mail your question to volunteers@brll.org.

Upon completion of all volunteer projects, please complete and submit the "Volunteer Certification" form posted on the website under the "Forms" section of this website, so that your efforts are credited towards satisfaction of your work bond obligations."

The Following jobs are open for Volunteers.  Please contact the person in charge via e-mail.
