Late Registration Deadlines for the 10, 11, and 12 year old
Spring leagues have been extended to the following dates :
Age 12 - Register by : Saturday, 1/30 (Evaluation 1/31)
Age 11 - Register by : Saturday, 2/6 (Evaluation 2/07)
Age 10 - Register by : Saturday, 2/13 (Evaluation 2/14)

Managers and Coaches,
We are preparing for this season with a line-up of educational events to help teach our players more about the great game of baseball. We need your help and commitment to get the most out of the events we have planned. BRLL’s goal is to enhance our training and advance our players a faster rate. There is much more we can teach the kids and we are setting up the regimen to do just that, so we want to prepare you as well with the information and events we have scheduled for coaches as well. Below are the following events we have scheduled:
PCA-Positive Coaching Alliance Workshop :
(Mandatory for all Managers and Coaches)
2/10/2010 6:30 – 8:30pm (Pingry School-Hauser Auditorium)
Workshop Name: Coaching the Mental Game
Please notify Steve Matarante by email (Steven.Matarante@Eclipsys.com) if you plan to attend the workshop. A $5 fee is required to cover the costs of the workbooks.
Winter Training Program- 1/23, 1/30, 2/6, 2/13 4 weeks on Saturday’s 4-5:30 pm at TEST working with coaches from the ZONED. The fee is $100 for the 4 sessions. Please notify Steve Matarante (Steven.Matarante@Eclipsys.com) by Thursday 1/21 if you plan to have your child attend or you know someone who is having their child attend.
Coach’s Clinic - 3/6 9:00 -10:30 AM at ZONED. This clinic will be for coaches in the 7, 8 and Collegiate leagues Please bring your gloves and dress appropriately. This will be an interactive clinic for coaches to provide hints and tips on running a practice and teaching the game of baseball fundamentals.
Coach’s Clinic - 3/6 10-noon at Cust Diamond Nation.
This clinic is specifically for coaches for the American and National Leagues
*Note-we may add a 2nd location at CUST on the same day.
Players Clinic - 4/3 at the Ridge Baseball Complex.
We will be doing 2 sessions (a morning and an afternoon) splitting the kids by age. 9-10 year olds will be put together and 11-12 years olds will be put together for these 2 sessions. We will have a rain date of 4/17 if needed. We will also have a 2nd clinic on 4/18 for 7-8 year olds at the Ridge Baseball Complex.
Finally, we have worked the schedule to accommodate more practice time. We will be combining teams for practices and you will be scheduled to practice with one other team on schedule dates. We will provide a practice agenda that should be followed designed to keep the kids moving and flowing and set up for the highest potential of learning.
We appreciate your commitment to the BRLL program and we are looking forward to your feedback on our education and training programs.

As you know all work at Basking Ridge Little League is performed by volunteers. From the board of directors through Tee Ball coaches our league depends on YOU to ensure we are able to provide a successful Little League experience for every player!
We are already hard at work to prepare for the 2010 season and need YOUR help today!
We have nearly 100 volunteer opportunities posted at the "Volunteers/Work Bond" section. From technical assistance through organizing our special events, we need your special talents/ interests to bring the quality programs you have enjoyed over the years!
