Bridgeport LL 16U - PA Section 8 Champs!
The Bridgeport 16U team achieved championship honors as they competed for the Little League Section 8 tournament held in Morrisville , Pa. The team swept through this tournament with a record of 3-0 and defeated District 27 champs Chester Valley Little league 10-2 to advance to the Pennsylvania Senior Little League State tournament held in Emporium, Pa with 7 other teams from Pennsylvania.
In Emporium the team advanced out of pool play by earning the top seed in the East bracket with a record of 3-0. We defeated teams from Scranton , Chambersburg and Northwest Bethlehem . The allowed us to move on to the Semi finals to meet the 2nd seeded Canton from the West bracket. The team beat Canton 16-1 to gain a berth in the finals.
The final game pitted Bridgeport against the host District team from St. Mary's , Pa. We stayed close until the 7th inning, but gave up 5 runs in route to losing 9-3.
Overall the teams tournament record was 13-1 and outscored their opponents 111-36.

Bridgeport LL - 2009 District 22 Champs!
The Bridgeport 16U district team finished 6-0 in pool play defeating Hatboro LL for the Championship. We all are proud of the Boys!

WINTER BASEBALL CLINIC
Start your new year off right, with our winter baseball clinic. We are accepting players for our annual Head Start Baseball clinic. The clinic starts January 8th and runs through March 12th. We meet Friday evenings 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm. If you have any questions please contact:

Volunteers Needed
Bridgeport Little League is always in need of Managers, Coaches, Umpires, and Volunteers for all levels play. Please come to our monthly meetings and introduce yourself. No one will be turned away. We meet the first Wednesday of every month. Please click on the calendar link for directions.
