| Go Briarwood-El Camino Little League! Baseball has such great memories. One of my best players was a 12 year old pitcher I had back in the 1980's who would take a miniature 'GI Joe' action figure to the mound and place it next to his feet when he pitched (for good luck I suppose--we did win a title that year). But the weird part is that the other teams just laughed. Nobody ever complained about the toy. Have a terrific season! | Wow, what a season. I would like to thank all the volunteers, Managers, Coaches and Team Moms who helped make the 2008 season a success. From Opening Day up until our post season success this season has been an exciting one. Thanks againt to all our volunteers who helped raise 2000.00 dollars for Cancer Awareness/ March of Dimes Day. Congratulations to the Minor A's, Major Pirates and 11/12 All Stars who brought us back 4 District and Section flags. Briarwood has now one 12 flags in the last 4 years! I am looking forward to another exciting season at Briarwood, we will be returning the 2007 11 year old All Star Champs and for the first time in a long time, we will have 5 T-ball teams and 6 Farm teams.
