22 WEEKS REMAIN TO SEASON OPENER
Nov. 17: Myron gave each girl another parent letter. It included information about the NIT and open gyms and condisition. The NIT information is avilable in the My Site News area. Here's the open gym and conditioning informaiton:
Last season we bagan the season with a rigorist conditioning program, which left the majority of the girls limping and moaning for weeks. To assist in getting the girls into shape before the season we are conduting open gym periods which will allow the girls to work on hitting and throwing. Each Sunday from 1 - 3 p.m. the gym will be available to the softball team. The girls can also hit upstairs after school each Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Pitching: the JV team will need pitching and catching this season.
Many of you will require hitting assistance and should schedule at least one time a week to hit in the cage with a buddy - pair up and hit.
Hit-A-Thon Pledges/Donations: If you haven't gotten any you can still get them; just use the distance you hit; All pledges/donations need to be turned into Coach Thacker by December 1.
Blue Ridge Lady Knights Softball hats on sale - $13
They are adjustable, royal blue w/ with and silver print, lightweight and embroidered. Supply is limited but if we have enough interest we may consider purchasing more. These would make a great stocking stuffer for dad. Contact Coach Schroeder to order.

NOTE: We welcome Tenille Perring, as our team manager. Her duties will vary due to her injury, but it is great that she still wants to be part of the team; this says a lot about this young lady! Of course with her bad hip, we will make her carry all the equipment; that is part of her re-hab. Get well soon!
